New directions in the Ancient Near East
The 2012 Annual Conference of the British Association for Near Eastern Archaeology will be held at the University of Manchester from the evening of Friday 8th to Sunday 10th June 2012. The main venue will be the Manchester Museum.
The Conference organisers welcome proposals for themed sessions, workshops, papers and posters show-casing recent work and new approaches to the Ancient Near East. Themed sessions that could lead to publication through the BANEA Publication Series are particularly welcome. As in previous years there will also be a session dedicated to recent fieldwork.
Proposals are invited. Titles should be sent to conference@banea.org together with 150 word abstracts before the 15th March. We are particularly open to contributions from younger scholars and postgraduates.
For further information, email conference@banea.org.
Watch this site for further information; registration will be available in the second half of February.
