The BANEA 2020 was hosted by the University of Oxford and the event took place  in the Ashmolean Museum and nearby college venues.

The conference is organized around the theme ‘Critical Debates in the Archaeology of the Middle East’ and also included two plenary panel discussions, aligning with this theme.
